I make one of kind ceramics for everyday use. Using porcelain and stoneware, I hope to give a quiet beauty to eating and drinking. Everything is food safe, highfired to 2300F.

I approach making functional ware as I do sculpture. The bowl is the original sculpture. Making connections between disparate ideas, the visual presentation of data, the aesthetics of plants, animals and tools. Ancient and modern, objects informed by a post-internet world. This is my effort to maintain a childlike awe of my surroundings and explore the beauty of idea synthesis.
The direct action of working in clay has been a line of continuum throughout my practice. I love that my functional work goes out into the world to be held and used. The clay leads the way in a meditative process that results in one of a kind pieces. I’m happy to take requests for small batches or sets for wholesale and custom orders.
I studied at Massachusetts College of Art, The University of New South Wales, Australia, and received my degree in ceramics under Marvin Sweet at Bradford College. My practice has always been making space for community and connections. Public Art and Art Happenings as part of The Revolving Museum and FPAC in Fort Point and then opening my restaurant, Channel Cafe. Moving to Roslindale I became a co-founder of Rozzie Bound Cooperative Bookstore and now have built a new studio to grow my visual practice .
